A commercial vehicle rental specialist has created 15 jobs with the opening of a flagship depot in Rugby.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent has invested about £1m in the 3.5-acre site, which replaces a smaller depot in Coventry.

The site, located at Europark, A5 Watling Street, is one of Enterprise’s network of 28 specialist commercial vehicle depots in the UK. It includes three HGV workshop bays and seven van workshop bays, as well as both washing and valeting facilities.

Managing director Danny Glynn said: “Our Rugby depot is the prototype for how we will deliver commercial vehicle mobility in terms of size and capability. It is a clear signal of our ambition to expand and adds another important link to our national branch network, providing businesses with commercial vehicles, technology and expertise essential to keep people and goods moving.

“The West Midlands is a key part of the UK economy and there is increasing demand for commercial vehicles from many business sectors. This new depot will ensure we continue to provide a first-class service to our customers and support the growth of the regional economy.”
