On March 24th the Industrial estate Europark on the A5 were host to an Easter themed egg and spoon race raising funds for Comic Relief.
Workers on site took time out of their busy schedules to donate to the charity and win products donated by car treatment manufacturers Fortron International.
Rob Maddocks from Fortron International felt the fundraiser was a great succcess:
“It was fantastic collaborating with the other businesses for such a worthy cause. Despite working alongside many of the people on the estate, there were faces I’ve never seen before. The event brought a fantastic feeling of community and camaraderie to Europark”.
The event raised over £100 at the final count for Comic Relief and with a bit of luck, it may become an annual event.
